Amoureux first came to our stables in 1996 and immediately her beauty and her movements impressed us. It was from Amoureux that we began our Arabian breeding, and today she is still the pride of our stud. Amoureux is a horse that possesses many excellent qualities. She has a very good Arabian type, with a beautifully shaped head, is of great size and her movements are fabulous. In her pedigree there are a number of great horses. The sire of Amoureux was the world-famous stallion Plakat, a horse that was already considered a legend when he was still alive. Plakat himself was a son of Aswan, who was an Arabian with a lot of influence in Russian Arabian breeding. Aswan was presented to the Russian State in 1963 as a gift from president Nasser of Egypt. The father of Aswan was Nazeer, who was considered by many to be one of the greatest Arabians ever. The dam of Amoureux was the Abrahim daughter Amurath Attaya. In the dam-line there is a lot of influence from the great world-champion Abdullah. All these fantastic horses come together in our fantastic mare Amoureux. We are proud to have this mare with her charming character and her qualities.
